The first Collaborative Partner Oral Proficiency Interview training workshop will be held December 10-14, 2016. Full-day ACTFL workshops will take place over the first four days, followed by a half-day session on proficiency-oriented reverse design. The workshop is mandatory for anyone who wishes to become a Collaborative Partner, but does not commit an individual to becoming one. It is also a way to provide a potential Collaborative Partner with the background they would need to consider taking on the role. We will cover the cost of participants’ travel and lodging, most meal costs, and of course the cost of the training.
Individuals who wish to take part in the OPI workshop should send a one-page statement of purpose that demonstrates knowledge of the project and a letter of support from a chair or dean to Catherine Baumann at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will fill the 20 available spots on a first-come first-served basis – but keep in mind that we will run additional OPI workshops, which will also serve as entry points for participation, in the Autumn of 2017, 2018 and 2019.
